The Adventures
of Rin Tin Tin
is an American
television program which originally aired in 166 episodes from
October 1954 until August 1959. It starred child actor Lee Aaker as
Rusty, a boy orphaned in an Indian raid, who was being raised by
the soldiers at a US Cavalry post. He and his German Shepherd
dog, Rin-Tin-Tin, helped the soldiers to establish order in the
American West. Texas-born actor James Brown (1920–1992)
appeared in every episode as Lieutenant Ripley “Rip” Masters.
Co-stars included veteran character actors Joe Sawyer and Rand
Brooks.

Description

This includes the complete existent 136 episodes. Series originally ran 164 episodes over five seasons, however 28 episodes have been lost between a studio fire and lack of care for the masters. Each of these episodes are in order. All 5 existant seasons are here on 18 discs in three DVD sets. Comes with nice art on the DVDs and nice art cases. This set also includes a copy of the feature film, “The Couurage of Rin Tin Tin”. Collection also comes with a separate detailed print-out of the episode list.
