***The movie shakes a bit when watching.

This video is a potted history of the events leading up to and the causes of the battles of Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift during the Anglo Zulu war of 1879.

Isandlwana was the greatest regular British army defeat of the 19th century, and Rorkes Drift was one of it’s greatest victories.

The narrator Kenneth Griffiths gives a masterful and dramatic insight into the gallantry and bravery of the soldiers and Zulu’s who took part in these events, with on location footage of key areas and ‘in character ‘ renditions of quotes taken from viable source material.
A must for anyone interested in the subject of warfare.
